Mr
Clete Ball
- from the Bal Caron Trio, and several other world class acts
which played from Paris to Vegas. Clete was the major influence
in Price and McCoy's original development Mr Barry Martin - A former member of an Australian hand balancing duo and trainer of many of Australia's fine gymnasts and sports acrobats. Barry spent many patient hours with us fine tuning our high throws and acrobatic movements. Toni and Mai Satoni - Toni was originally from the Moscow Circus and Mai an accomplished acrobatic dancer spent many hours in the back yard developing our balance and comedy work. Arnie and Mary Selfor - Known for their incredible balance and contortion techniques, both Arnie and Mary have made such a impact on our work through their hours of training and attention. Fe and Wilf Halliwell - (The Jolly Jovers) We have had the good fortune of working with Fe and Wilfred on two different occasions, the second being their farewell contract in Medora - USA after 50 years in the business. They're the masters of burlesque comedy, and one of those few artists who have not only passed the test of time, but managed to adapt their lovable humour to the present day. We have been inspired and honoured by the help they have offered us and will be proud to continue some of their unique routines and gags with our own flavour. Mr Joe Latona - Joe, from the famous ‘Warren Latona and Sparks’ still holds the record for the longest running sight act at the London Palladium and has left an indelible mark on our comedy moves. The Seven Ashtons - It was the late Mickey Ashton, of the original Seven Ashtons who taught Price and McCoy the Australian Knockabout slapstick comedy. Sylvie Delcourt - Sylvie was a former member of the international magic act duo 'Phil Keller'. We can't thank Sylvie and Phil, nor their families enough for their hospitality, friendship and constant help, especially during the early years of Price and McCoy's European endeavours. Claire Joubert and Erica Maury Lascoux - The girls were well known for their creative and spectacular contortion act 'The Mandragores'. Price and McCoy are indebted to them both and their families for the support and friendship they have offered to two Australians living so far away from home. Mr Barry Cannon - Mr George Carl - Annie Fratelini - Renzo Larible and Mr Mervin Nairn - must also be remembered for their time and assistance to our careers. |
